The Institution of Fire Engineers (India) was established in the year 1973 on the recommendations of the standing Fire Advisory Council constituted by the Chiefs of Fire Services in India and headed by Director General Civil Defense Home Guard, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India.IFE (I) is dedicated to the cause of fire engineers and fire engineering profession.IFE (I) is imparting training in the field of Fire Engineering and Fire protection Technology to enhance professional skills.

IFE (I) provides Disaster Consultancy, Disaster Management Plan, Training Response and Preparedness activities across India.IFE (I) is equipped with a team of multi-disciplinary experts to advise and assist across a broad range of traditional as well as emerging security, safety and disaster related matters.

FTRL: Fire Test & Research Laboratory

Fire Test & Research Laboratory [FTRL] is India’s First & leading Fire testing Laboratory. The Laboratory was established in 2005 and today it is the most preferred choice of customers for their testing needs. FTRL being accredited from National Accreditation board for testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL)

NSDC: National Skill Development Corporation

The courses offered at CD Institute of Fire & Security Management are approved by NSDC. National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) is a not-for-profit public limited company incorporated on July 31, 2008 under section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956 (corresponding to section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013). NSDC was set up by Ministry of Finance as Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. The Government of India through Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) holds 49% of the share capital of NSDC, while the private sector has the balance 51% of the share capital.

NSDC aims to promote skill development by catalyzing creation of large, quality and for-profit vocational institutions. Further, the organization provides funding to build scalable and profitable vocational training initiatives. Its mandate is also to enable support system which focuses on quality assurance, information systems and train the trainer academies either directly or through partnerships. NSDC acts as a catalyst in skill development by providing funding to enterprises, companies and organizations that provide skill training. It also develops appropriate models to enhance, support and coordinate private sector initiatives. The differentiated focus on 37 sectors under NSDC’s purview and its understanding of their viability will make every sector attractive to private investment.

The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, a branch of the Government of India, is the apex executive body for the formulation and administration of rules, regulations and laws relating to micro, small and medium enterprises in India.
